The Halswell Community Project (HCP) a local non-profit group that aims to make Halswell a well connected community and a great place to live.
Halswell Community Project began as a small group of volunteers interested in promoting Halswell and Halswell clubs, groups, activities and businesses to Halswell residents and residents of surrounding areas. Over the last few years it has grown and now operates out of the Halswell Community Hub with a small team of contracted staff and volunteers.
Our vision is to develop a strong sense of community in Halswell and help both established and new residents to get to know each other better; and to make Halswell a lively and exciting place to live, work and play.
HCP has its own projects, including a monthly newsletter, Community Market, Community Hub, Sharing Shack, Welcome bags, Connections meetings, Vege Co-op, various Facebook pages, Kids markets, coffee morning, events, and activities which you can find out more about through our website or by dropping into the Community Hub
