If you have an iPad, tablet, or an e-reader, the library has an ever increasing number of eBooks that you can borrow at no cost. We have titles for both children and adults, and in many different genres.

The library has a Learning Centre which encompasses a computer lab and a Maker Space, and has regular programmes for children and adults, during term time as well as holiday programmes. There are also regular preschool programmes during term time for the under 5s. Check out our programmes at

As well as public computers with free internet, and free Wi-Fi throughout the facility, there are also lots of comfortable spaces to meet with friends, or curl up and read the latest magazine.

Each month the library produces a selective list of the new titles that it has received. This is available either online at or in paper copy in the library. Don't forget you are able to reserve the latest fiction titles, biographies, a wide range of non-fiction titles as well as a selection of DVDs, music CDs, talking books and magazines, and we will notify you once they have arrived for you!
